Music can be a powerful resource for the human spirit, and my guest this week, Kyera, is a testament to that human spirit, as she pivoted from a career in writing for television and films to writing music and performing.
Kyera took a leap of faith to pursue her passion. Her perseverance, unique voice and trust in herself landed her in collaborations with award-winning producers and artists like the legend, Carlos Santana, who is featured on her rock anthem, appropriately titled, “Passion.” The lyrics of “Passion” carry the message much like an anthem to empower people to be courageous and believe in themselves. Kyera has now teamed up with Nigerian rapper, Goya Menor, who’s viral sensation “Ameno Amapiano Nektune Remix” has been streamed 9.7 billion times.
